From the wilderness to the world of high society, from an underground cabaret to a candy factory, Frankie Drake and Trudy Clarke investigate murders, kidnappings, heists and poisonings. Morality officer Mary Shaw snoops through police files and hears non-civilian discussions, while Flo Chakowitz lends a hand with autopsy reports, science experiments, and her newly acquired medical skills.

Frankie Drake Mysteries follows the city’s only female private detectives as they take on the cases the police don’t want to touch. Frankie Drake (Lauren Lee Smith) and Trudy Clarke (Chantel Riley), with help from their friend’s morality officer Mary Shaw (Rebecca Liddiard) and morgue assistant Flo Chakowitz (Sharron Matthews), are new detectives for a new world – but is the world ready for them?

Frankie Drake Mysteries follows Toronto’s first female private detectives as they solve cases the police can’t, and other detective agencies won’t. In the second season, cases will take Frankie and her team of gal pals across prohibition-era Toronto, from renowned museums and high fashion houses, to dance halls and baseball leagues.

Set in 1920s Toronto, the series follows the adventures of Frankie Drake (Lauren Lee Smith) and her partner Trudy Clarke (Chantel Riley) at Drake Private Detectives, the city’s only all-female detective agency, as they find themselves fighting crime in the age of flyboys, gangsters, rum-runners, and speakeasies.
