The Infiltrators is a docu-thriller that tells the true story of two young immigrants who get detained by Border Patrol - on purpose - and put in a shadowy for-profit detention center. Marco and Viri are members of the National Immigrant Youth Alliance, a group of radical Dreamers who are on a mission to stop deportations. And the best place to stop deportations, they believe, is in detention.

Marco introduces himself to Claudio. They discuss the work the National Immigrant Youth Alliance is doing on the outside to stop deportations.

Marco hears Claudio’s detainment story, told from the perspective of Claudio and his son, Emiliano.

Mohammad is a DREAMer who came to the United States from Iran at age 12. This clip shows the variety of tactics and strategies Mohammad and other DREAMer youth used to loudly and visibly protest deportation policies, in spite of the fear of being deported by ICE.

Maleoon recounts the first time he realized that his father was losing his memory. It was an episode in a swimming pool with Ma Ke asking the same question over and over.

The clip treats us to portions of a live performance of the “Papa’s Time Machine,” the show that Maleoon has created to help preserve father-son memories.
